Balloon Cup is a simple 2 players game. We have to adapt the Balloon (represent by set of ballon cards with numbers on it) with the wind. If the ballon flew on the plain, prairie, “dataran rendah”, lower point’s better. And if it flew on the mountain, higher point is a must. The winner
is the one who collect 3 trophies out of 5 first. Players can claim trophy, if he/she collected several winning cubes.
We played for the first time on Monday, April 21 2008. It was quite addictive, especially I was a bit furious..! He always won!! Luck factor was high. The cards in our hand, is the key of everything. Even if the deck reshuffled over and over again, still, he was luckier. I hated him that time, even i cried for God’s sake. He was so, uurgh really pissed me off. But, we made up later. To make me feel better, he didn’t complain when i asked him to drive me to Pitimoss so i could rent comic books, and bought me “Martabak Asia tasty keju”. Well, actually he owed me money that much so i told him to buy the ”martabak” instead.
In the end, I think Balloon Cup is a very nice game. Even I hate it so much if i lose
but still, it has very high replayability. The price is not so steep for cards, wooden cubes, cloth bag, and the idea of making it. Very recommended!! But be careful not to fight over this game, just like me heehee
